Apathy trolley chat

i was in a different city this weekend so i decided to natter to 2 bored jws on the apathy trolley.i just nattered, nothing thought provoking or anti witness.

i was waiting for someone so hard time to spare.what struck me was, that no matter how many times i said that i don't believe in god, they spoke to me as if i did.

they kept asking me how god would feel about stuff.

i have quite a few grandchildren:

4 girls --to my daughter--shes 45 this year.--jw. lives a mile away--never met those 4

1 boy 1 girl--to my older (d/f) son--39---they dont live with him--but with their jw mother. met them once--8 years ago--but they didnt know who i was.

1 boy--born last may--also to my older son. ive put pics on here of me holding that delightful lad

1--or 2 more--to my younger son---37. never met them--not seen him for over 30 years. ( jw--mini servant i heard )

this is what the watchtower does to families.

i saw my 20 year old granddaughter at a trolley cart last summer--twice. we live in the same village.

ive never met her--but i knew it was her--family resemblance. i was tempted to go and introduce myself--but i wasnt in the right frame of mind. i cant take too many more rejections.

I lied to the elders

i stopped attending meetings all together in january 2015. before that my attendance was irregular at best.

my husband followed suit a few months ago after months of research, agony, and indecision on his part.

from the very beginning i laid low and did not share with anyone what i found out about the witnesses because i did not want to be df'd.

This whole sad story only serves to emphasise that jw's are just a sad silly cult. Put it all behind you..get on with enjoying a happy life without it. Hopefully your family will start to wake up eventually.

on the one hand , if their is a disaster , a natural occurrence such as an earthquake , tsunami , tornadoes etc, the witness armageddon barometer kicks in .many fence sitters , relatives etc.

photos of pretty women spreading the watchtower good news will always go down well in third world countries. women readers want to copy them--male readers just want them. clever advertising. unfortunately the audience hasnt the money to donate.

Disfellowshipped for celebrating Xmas?

i could really do with some advice on what's acceptable when you leave.

we have left of our own accord about 6 months ago.

we didn't celebrate xmas this year but have just celebrated my daughters birthday.. a friend of mine who is still a witness told me that an elder had approached her and asked if we had celebrated xmas and that if we did it was a df offence as is classed as apostasy!

Karma kind of makes me smile.......am I bad?

today at work one of the clients that came in for advice was an elder and his wife.

they must be having issues they need help with.

this elder was the elder that told us not to go to a domestic violence shelter or not to go to the police when my daughter got a black eye.. am i bad because i smiled inside that they are having problems?.

JWs is reduced to coming to little old me to deal with his overwhelming problems that his fellow JWs can't help him with or Jehovah can't eithe

in other words--he cant get it up any more
